Isiqu Accountants is set to establish itself as a high-quality, mid-tier professional accounting services organization in South Africa.
In a sector dominated by major multinationals, we believe that scale is vital to be able to offer excellent service and expertise, ensure stability and attract talented staff. Isiqu was therefore founded by merging four established, successful accounting companies into one seamless organization with a combined over 30 years of experience in the fields of consulting and auditing in both private and public sectors.

Our team consists of appropriately skilled and experienced professionals that are readily available to undertake any assignment and we pride ourselves on a staff complement in excess of 50 professionals. We are registered with recognized professional bodies, including registrations with the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA), the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the Institute of Internal Auditors of South Africa (IIASA).

Zenzele Mzimela - CA(SA); RA; CFE
Zenzele brings over 20 years of Public Practice experience, including executive roles as CFO for entities like the KZN Office of the Premier. Specializing in Financial Management, Assurance, and Forensic Investigations, his expertise spans IFRS, taxation, and corporate governance. With a recent Master’s Degree in Accountancy, Zenzele excels as both a lecturer and company director, demonstrating a strong commitment to excellence.

Thabani Zulu - CA(SA)
Thabani brings over 20 years of experience in Public Practice, with expertise in financial reporting frameworks. Notably, he served in executive roles at KZN Treasury and founded Thabani Zulu & Company. A respected corporate governance practitioner and Risk Management specialist, Thabani has chaired Governing Bodies and facilitated workshops for Government Departments. He authored “Risk and Rewards,” a book tailored for SMEs.

Ronald is a seasoned professional with over 28 years of experience in audits, risk management, and corporate governance across diverse sectors. Specializing in strategic consulting for capital raising and corporate finance, he’s led training programs in Public Finance Management and Corporate Governance for over 15 years. Passionate about efficiency, Ronald develops innovative methodologies in assurance and consulting engagements.

Thando Ntshingila AGA(SA)
Thando, an Associate General Accountant (SA) with over 11 years of experience, excels in legislative compliance, accounting frameworks, tax consulting, and regulatory requirements. As an audit manager and consultant, he has overseen key assignments in both public and private sectors, including audits of government departments and financial management roles. Currently, Thando manages audit, accounting, and tax operations at Isiqu Accountants.
